Our New Home

My cousins threw me another birthday party! I'm so spoiled!

We had such a wonderful time in St. Louis this past weekend. We loved getting to spend so much quality time with our family, and we cannot wait to see them more often on a regular basis. We also really enjoyed watching Lenny play with his cousins... he seemed to fit in so well with them, which helps us feel a lot more comfortable about being away from him during the day when I start my new job. We had many great meals together and spent lots of time playing and visiting together. The St. Louis Blaxtons (I guess we will have to come up with a different identifier name for them since we will also become St. Louis Blaxtons) even threw Lenny another Birthday party!

St. Louis has so much to offer, and we are becoming more and more confident that this will be the perfect place for us to settle. We had a great time going to the Magic House, and we are excited to explore all the other activities available (museums, zoo, botanical gardens, etc.). 

Annie and I get along really well! She is always helping to take care of me!

The main purpose of our trip, however, was to find our new home, and we are thrilled to have found it so easily.  We cannot wait to move in there. We just signed the lease earlier this week, so it's official! When we walked into the home, we both felt like adults right away, and we really loved the feel of the home. We are right across the street from a playground, which will be awesome for Lenny. We are also walking distance from Ted Drewes...Yay! We will have so much more space and light than we do now, plus a backyard area. The kitchen is amazing. We are even going to be able to have an extra bed for visitors. It really has everything that we were hoping to find!
