I cannot believe Lenny is almost 1 year old! After he hit 3 months, it definitely seems like time has just been flying by. This past weekend, Grandpa and Kiki came for some pre-birthday festivities. We had a really wonderful time...we made some delicious meals, went to the outlets, hiked the 3 dune challenge (that we actually made into a 4 dune challenge), and went to a brewery! It was so much fun! Lenny had a great time showing off his new found mobility. He did a lot of walking with his walker and crawling. He basically likes to go anywhere in our apartment except to his books and toys. It was so nice having people there to help keep a watchful eye on him and play with him. He loved having more people around as well... when my parents left to go back to their hotel for a bit, he crawled after them and put his hands on the door very confused. He just really loves to be around people! He especially loves Grandpa. They definitely have a special bond. Grandpa is definitely one of Lenny's best buddies and vice versa... it was very difficult to watch the two say goodbye at the train station.
